This year MASI is once more organising a series of free film screenings that explore the themes of the exhibitions. The programme, which for the first time also takes in Bellinzona and Locarno, offers a unique opportunity to experience the connections between cinema and visual art. The project is produced with support from Cultura in movimento and advice from Antonio Prata.

The season begins on Wednesday 12^th March in Lugano with Play Time by Jacques Tati, which will also be screened in Bellinzona on 26^th March. On 3^rd April in Locarno, it will be the turn of Michael Koch's Drii Winter, which won Best Swiss Film in 2023. The spring season ends on 9^th April with Anche stanotte le mucche danzeranno sul tetto by Aldo Gugolz, a tribute to the mountains of Ticino.

After the summer break, the programme will resume with new events in the autumn. All the updates will be posted on our website.
